- my ex.
husband, my childrens loving father, a son, brother, uncle and not at
least: a big adventurer.
John died
wednesday of a heart attack - 49 year old. Too early to say goodbye to
this world, too early to "move on" against, hopefully, new adventures.
John had an anxiety in his body, but besides that, he managed to live an
ordinary life in many years with wife and children. He was a father in the
presence, when he could find new experiences/challenges to - and with -
his children. He was an amazing role model in many ways. John knew much
about many things, and what he didn't knew, he learned. With those
qualities among many others, he got curious and challenging children, who
gladly followed their father.
After det divorce in 1999, John went out on a sailing trip around the
world, where he met his present wife. He became a resident of Canada,
which ment the journey was very long for his children, but they gladly
travelled the long way to see their father. The last time their were
together, was last summer. John will be missed by all of us - now, today,
tomorrow - and in the years that will come.
It's sad and tragic to think, that we never again will hear his "Always
look on the bright side of life" any longer. The loss will be huge for the
family. John lived fast, he experienced the world in a hurry and our
thoughts goes to Natalie in Canada.
