It is 3:30 p.m. and I'm currently at 9 degrees south, 40 minutes and 136 degrees
west and 56 minutes. I have got 124 miles left and I am to(/should) arrive at
Atuona, Hiva Oa, tomorrow evening(/night). I still have oil (left) in(/on) the
cooker, so(/which means) I have been good at economizing(/saving). I have just
had(/I just made) myself pancakes. I did however already have rice
porridge(/pudding) this morning(/for breakfast), but I needed something sweet.
The wind has dropped somewhat(/a little) but I'm still sailing reefed down. I
don't feel like taking any chances(/running any risks) even though I am becoming
eager to (finally, edit) getting firm ground under(/beneath) my feet again. Damn
it Trojka is rolling when we're going with(/down) the wind, and I have now been
rolling for 32 days and I have just about had enough(/getting tired) of it this
time (around).
It's the longest distance I have covered yet and I have learned something from
it(/the experience). There are a couple of things that's going to be bought for
next time. Plus I need to get (myself) some more books. I had swapped before
leaving(/departing) the Galapagos Islands, but have now read everything I have
got(/I have). I have glanced through all (the) (instruction) manuals also.

program I have used for many years now and simply love: |
